Our staff discussed the desire to have a monthly prayer focus for every month of the year. We want to bring our congregation together in prayer and to experience the power of prayer in our community.
The prayer focus for the month of February is Marriage & Relationships.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
John 15:12: My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
Prayer: Father, thank You for giving us a true picture of what love looks like. Help us to show your true love in all of our relationships. We pray that our love would be patient with each other and slow to give up. Help us to be kind to each other, never lacking in compassion. We pray that our love would be good-willed and always humble before each other. Help us to always speak highly of each other in private and in public. Amen.
If this prayer focus captures your heart and you would like to pray about it, or if you would like to come pray about anything else going on in your life, please be reminded that our Rose Chapel is open for prayer Thursdays 11:00am-1:00pm. Julia Griffith will be there during that time frame in case you would like a partner in prayer.
